Background
I obtained my degree in Biochemistry from the University of Buenos Aires, where my interest in physiology led me to join the undergraduate teaching training program in the Physiology Department in 2014. This experience provided me with a strong foundation in university teaching, and I have been actively involved in physiology education for over a decade.
It also introduced me to research, with my first laboratory experience in Marcelo Vatta’s group at IQUIMEFA, where I studied splicing variants of the endothelin A receptor in a DOCA-salt model.
Research
Driven by a broader interest in signaling pathways as key regulators of disease, I pursued a PhD at the Biomedicine Research Institute of Buenos Aires–Max Planck Society Partner (IBioBA-MPSP) under the mentorship of Eduardo Arzt, supported by the National Scientific and Technical Research Council of Argentina (CONICET). My research focused on the interplay between senescence and cancer, specifically investigating inflammatory networks in pituitary tumors.
In 2025, I joined Marcus Buschbeck’s laboratory at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute as a postdoctoral researcher to contribute to the exciting and emerging field of metabolic genome regulation, exploring the role of nuclear metabolic enzymes in acute myeloid leukemia.
