Here, we aim:
• To develop a CRISPR-Cas9-based screening method to enforce nuclear exclusion of all metabolic enzymes.
• To use the method to unbiasedly assess the requirement of nuclear localization of metabolic enzymes for cancer cell growth.
• To characterise the molecular pathways associated with the growth-essential nuclear enzymes.

Envisioned Secondments

UMCU (Rodriguez-Colman), months 15-18 (3 months) to learn manipulating and analyzing 3, organoids. UiT (Heiland), months 27-30 (3 months), to train bioinformatic reconstruction of metabolic pathways from transcriptomic data.

Recruitment

The estimated annual gross salary for the fellow will be €34.000 without family allowance; €38.500 with family allowance (approx.).
